To reduce using harmful chemicals, we are developing reagents for Gram and Ziehl-Neelsen/Kinyoun bacterial staining that do not contain phenol, and enable the same staining quality with reliable differentiation between Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, that is, acid-fast bacteria.
