Introduction

Histology, cytology and other related scientific disciplines study the microscopic anatomy of tissues and cells. In order to demonstrate a good tissue and cellular structure, the samples need to be stained in a correct manner. Light Green SF Yellowish is used for staining in histology, for instance, for staining collagen fibers and especially for Gomori trichrome staining and Masson trichrome staining according to Goldner. Light Green SF Yellowish is also used for polychromatic staining according to Papanicolaou in cytology and as a contrasting dye.
