Orion Sutures

Orlon
Orlon – non-absorbable, sterile surgical monofilament suture composed of long-chain aliphatic polymers Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6. It is a smooth suture with minimal tissue drag and trauma, with excellent tensile strength and knot tying. Orlon sutures come with reverse and conventional cutting needle.
It is the ideal suture for skin closure, general, plastic and gastrointestinal surgery, gynaecology and obstetrics. -
Oryl
Oryl PGA suture is an ideal and time tested synthetic absorbable suture, widely used by surgeons. PGA’s superior features over catgut are predictable absorption (approximately 60 to 90 days), outstanding tensile strength (75% tensile strength is retained for 14 days and 50% up to 21 days), in vivo inertness and excellent handling properties. Oryl PGA sutures come with reverse cutting and taper point needle. It is the ideal suture for general soft tissue closing and/or ligation. Especially in general surgery, skin closure, gastrointestinal surgery, gynecology, obstetrics, plastic surgery, urology, ophthalmic surgery and orthopedics.

Oryl PD MONO
Oryl PD MONO synthetic absorbable monofilament surgical suture composed of polydioxanone (PDO). The hydrolytic action by which the material is broken down results in total absorption in approximately 180 to 210 days. Approximately 50% of tensile strength remains after 42 days. Oryl PD MONO sutures come with taper point needle. It is the ideal suture for general soft tissue closing especially in general surgery, gastrointestinal and ophthalmic surgery, orthopedics, abdominal wall closure, gynecology, plastic surgery and urology.
