Solutions for staining and analysis of fungi

In order to detect and achieve better visualization of fungi and fungal structures that are otherwise difficult to observe, fungi can be stained using Lactophenol solutions. Using Myco-Mount medium they can also be stained and preserved as a permanent preparation.
