On 2 April 2019 The Croatian Chamber of Economy, Zagreb was visited by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Huzhou Committee – CCPIT Huzhou with which the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Zagreb has a valid cooperation agreement.

Croatia’s economic potential was presented to the Chinese delegation, as well as possibilities for new investments and distinguished advantages for Chinese companies’ successful business activities in this part of Europe.

As a part of the visit the Huzhou delegation made a visit to BioGnost, regional leader in manufacturing immunohematology and immunochromatography in vitro diagnostic devices. The delegation was welcomed by Ivan Marchiotti and Mirjana Ulip-Marchiotti, BioGnost’s owners. The company presents itself on the market with over 2000 highly standardized products from various sales ranges, such as hematology, histopathology, immunohematology, rapid immunochromatographic tests, laboratory consumables, medical equipment, microbiology, microscopy and transfusiology; 170 of those are registered under brand names and are exported to more than 60 countries worldwide, including China among others.
