Equipping Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital
During early 2019 BioGnost finished equipping the northwest and southeast wing of Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital in Zagreb in order to improve the quality of health care that the hospital provides. The equipping works included the Clinic for Ophthalmology, Department of Pathology and Cytology, Department of Urology and Department of Orthopedics. BioGnost’s team of experts also put the PCR laboratory into function, as well as the laboratory for conducting histology and histochemical methods. All the necessary medicine and technical equipment, as well as furniture has also been acquired. Special care has been taken to focus on patients and making their stay in the hospital shorter and more pleasant. The day hospital equipping project is a part of developing efficient public health care, conducted by the City of Zagreb and Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital.
Professor Fabijan Knežević, MD PhD led the opening ceremony, and it was attended by many dignitaries, such as Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital director Primarius Mladen Bušić MD PhD, Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandić and Milan Kujundžić, Minister of Health. BioGnost team was led by its owners Ivan Marchiotti and Mirjana Ulip-Marchiotti, and Marketing and Sales Director Sandra Ban. Sveti Duh Clinical Hospital is a public health care institution, and its founder is the City of Zagreb. It is the oldest medical institution the Republic of Croatia.
